| The principal UNIX® instructor for Alphaware
began teaching the operating system in corporate
America circa 1988 as co-owner of a UNIX System
Laboratories Licensed Education Center (a subsidiary
of AT&T/Bell Labs, the originators of UNIX).
Gerry has held many professional and instructor certifications
from major UNIX and Linux vendors and has delivered classes
to literally thousands of newcomers and successful
industry IT professionals. Gerry Tagle recently
completed seven years at the Houston Campus of Southern
Methodist University as principal UNIX instructor
and Senior UNIX and Linux Systems Administrator.
He also authored parts of the certification-based
